Whats better than a Private View?- Two Private Views. Whats better than two Private Views?- THREE Pirvate Views, and thats what were starting the Biennial with. The Henry Moore Institute from Leeds shall be taking over a large proportion of Liverpool, exhibiting in cafes, shops, restaurants and along with 'Soup'- a collective of Tate Liverpool staff at Red Wire.
Crapola Central is Red Wire artists and we will be unveiling new work also in Carlisle Building basement- a new setting, new work. And finally Lisa Who will be opening her space in Curve Gallery this day, it'll be 3 exhibitions in one day!
October 17th- Daniel Johnston.
Art work by the seminal musician artist and star of 'The Devil and Daniel Johnston' acclaimed by David Bowie, Sonic Youth, Beck, Spiritualized, The Flaming Lips, Matt Groening and famously Kurt Cobain. This work is taken from the 2006 Whitney Biennial in New York, and a critical event in Red Wire's history- there isn't an artist I personally would prefer to have in Red Wire.
Related events during the exhibition to be announced.
October 24-26. NAN Event- The Winner takes it all?
