NAN Tour of Liverpools Capital of Culture

Hosted by Red Wire and The Royal Standard

Follow at http://www.winnertakesitallscheme.blogspot.com/

In October 2008 25 artists will arrived in Liverpool to explore the Capital of Culture and the 2008 Liverpool Biennial. Through their investigations and the experience of Red Wire and our partners in the scheme- The Royal Standard,we discussed the opportunities and meaning the title has for artists. Many of the attending artists have links to other Capitals of Culture including Glasgow (1990) and Vilnius (2009) or bidded for the 2008 Capital of Culture title like Cardiff and Newcastle, and as such will made a valuable contribution to the debate.
